For Tue, 3/23, close:

Gold Stock model: The prediction numbers are positive. We had a buy signal at XAU 165.80. Target profit level is 183.00-183.50. The model is 100% long. It is slightly above the entry price, and the model usually trades for 9 - 10 days. Tuesday is day 9. So the target profit is not likely to be reached. If the XAU is going to close tomorrow with a 2.5% or more loss, I will close out the position and not wait for Wednesday (day 10) to close out the trade.

NDX Nasdaq 100:
The NDX Short-term, 3-4 day Model has a 3 year history of generating profits, and trades about once every 3 weeks. For 2009, 15 trades, up +8.2%. (2008 was an unusual year, up +66%). NDX Short-term, 3-4 day Model : Currently, the overall prediction numbers are moderately positive. Currently 100% in cash. Last signal made 2.0%.

There is another NDX model that deserves watching. I am not consistently trading it until it proves itself. This model has done well this year, I am scaling in a portion of my portfolio into this model. The NDX model moves in and out of long and short positions.
